Approvata la nuova versione della ISO 14001 sui sistemi di gestione ambientale
Formal-vote per l'ISO/FDIS 14001
La votazione tra i Paesi "P-member" (Paesi con diritto di voto in ambito ISO) dell'ISO/TC 207 "Environmental management" è avvenuta sul documento ISO/FDIS 14001 "Environmental management systems - Requirements with guidance for use" datato agosto 2004. Si tratta della procedura cosiddetta di "Formal Vote" -della durata di due mesi, in questo caso dal 12 agosto al 12 ottobre- in cui è necessario il voto tra i Paesi membri (con una maggioranza del 66.66%), senza la possibilità di effettuare commenti di natura tecnica sul testo, già consolidato. fonte

The pharmaceutical group Novartis has been condemned by a French Court in Nanterre. The group adopted a “guidance code” for its employees. For the Court, such a code is violating the privacy and therefore is creating a risk for the mental health of the workers. The code requires the employees to inform the company of any “governmental, political, voluntary or civic activity”. Brasile e Svezia condurranno i lavori ISO sulla responsabilità sociale delle imprese - L'ISO ha ufficialmente assegnato ad ABNT (ente normatore brasiliano) e SIS (ente normatore Svedese) la leadership congiunta del gruppo di lavoro incaricato di sviluppare una norma internazionale che fornisca linee guida sulla responsabilità sociale delle imprese. Tale norma, secondo quanto deciso a seguito della conferenza internazionale organizzata lo scorso giugno a Stoccolma dall'ISO, dovrà costituire un "documento guida" ed essere scritta in un linguaggio chiaro e facilmente comprensibile anche dai non addetti ai lavori e non dovrà essere utilizzabile per scopi certificativi. sicurezzaonline.it

UE Responsabilité sociale des entreprises: la Commission lance une campagne de sensibilisation des PME
En inauguration d’une campagne paneuropéenne visant à sensibiliser les PME à la responsabilité sociale des entreprises (RSE), la Commission organise aujourd’hui une manifestation de lancement à Bruxelles. Au nombre des orateurs figurent le Commissaire Olli Rehn, Philip Bushill-Matthews
(député britannique au Parlement européen), des représentants du secteur privé et des syndicats ainsi que des experts en RSE. FONTE

Certificazioni ISO 9001 e ISO 14001: pubblicato il rapporto ISO Survey 2003
- Da più di dieci anni l'ISO pubblica un rapporto annuale sull'andamento delle certificazioni ISO 9001 e ISO 14001: un documento che, pur nell'eterogeneità delle fonti considerate, è un utile indicatore circa il grado di adozione e utilizzo, da parte delle aziende, dei sistemi di gestione per la qualità e dei sistemi di gestione ambientale. L'ISO Survey of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 Certificates 2003 - di cui ora è disponibile on-line sul sito dell'ISO un compendio - traccia quindi un quadro esauriente delle certificazioni di conformità alle norme ISO 9001:2000 e ISO 14001.

Un Report della Fondazione di Dublino su " Violence, bullying and harassment in the workplace"
Incidence rates of physical violence, bullying and sexual harassment have increased, according to the European Working Conditions Survey and national surveys. This report examines the manner in which these ‘new’ issues have been studied in the national surveys of seven European countries. It aims to define the problems more clearly and formulate appropriate questions. It is difficult to say how much of the increase is due to raised awareness of the issues, but the heightened levels of experience must be regarded as real. It also became apparent in the study that physical violence, bullying and sexual harassment are very different and cannot be regarded in the same way. This means that action measures in the workplace must be

Nell'ambito del Comitato Costruzioni dell'UNI è stata recentemente approvata la proposta di mettere allo studio un progetto di norma nazionale sulla qualificazione e controllo delle lavorazioni edili e delle forniture, subforniture e opere specialistiche in edilizia, suddiviso in 3 parti:
# parte 1: codifica e descrizione delle risorse e delle attività in edilizia;
# parte 2: sistemi di misurazione e quantificazione delle rese e dei rendimenti, degli elementi tecnici, dei subsistemi e delle opere compiute;
# parte 3: schemi di previsione, rendicontazione e controllo standard delle lavorazioni edili per fattori di costo.

Responsabilità sociale delle imprese
Conferenza ISO sulla responsabilità sociale delle imprese - Nei giorni 21 ed il 22 giugno si è svolta a Stoccolma la Conferenza ISO sul tema della Responsabilità Sociale, magistralmente organizzata dal SIS (Istituto Svedese di Normazione). Presenti le delegazioni provenienti da molti Paesi, delle quali una trentina provenienti da Paesi dell Terzo Mondo, ed altre rappresentanze di istituzioni storicamente esterne al sistema
ISO, per un totale di oltre 300 partecipanti.
